The New Old Look – Eastern Monmouth County NJ

Working with an existing or past customer has a lot of strength in today’s market. Establishing your craftsmanship and getting the opportunity to grow your credibility all comes from working with great customers like this project in Eastern Monmouth County.

Shadow Lake Construction & Carpentry,LLC recently did a remodel for a existing client’s vacation rental property. The project scope was to remodel the garage and put in an apartment / granny unit. The clients wanted the remodel to have the new old look. The owner of Shadow Lake Construction & Carpentry, LLC, Ken Wiatrak, used the WindsorONE WOBC6 T&G boards to help create the new old  look for his client. The application of WOBC6 was to use the back side of the board on all the walls and ceiling. Ken did not use a common measurement for spacing the T&G and  purposely put a few boards unplumbed to achieve his clients new old look. Ken told me that the lighting in the room helps create shadow lines on the WOBC6  boards and achieves a really cool look that brings the character out in the room.
